I Love...

I LOVE…

The way that my niece says my name “Shelshey” 800 times whenever I walk through the door.

The Spirit that I feel in my home.

My dedicated, hard working husband.

The addiction that I have had to the scriptures lately.

That my mother listens to my every complaint and still loves me.

Raspberry Cheesecake Yoplait yogurt.

Getting Beautiful flowers.

Capturing children in their sweetest moments with my camera.

Watching it snow or rain from the warmth of my home.

The way I feel when I hear my brother’s laugh, it has been the same since before I can remember!

The Temple being so close to my home.

Our 500 sq. ft. apartment that forces us to be close at all times!

The tender moments that I am able to share with my poppa.

The “no big deal” attitude that my husband has.

Spending hours just talking to my big Sis.

The family that I have only been a part of for 2 years, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

The Office.

The tickle tortures that I receive weekly from Cody.

Cooking. Baking. Being in the Kitchen. Period.

Taking naps(especially while Cody is playing Xbox on the ottoman in front of me).

Talking on the phone. (SHOCKER!)

The way Cody makes me want to increase my knowledge of EVERYTHING.

Finding news ways/places to take pictures, my mind is constantly turning.

The many personalities of Ian…Kung foo man, so excited, so sad, cuddly, happy guy…

Having my prayers answered.

How warm my husband always is compared to my freezing body.

PJ’s.

Laughing hysterically at something when I am alone. That is happiness.

Eating out.

The love that I feel daily, hourly, from my Heavenly Father.

The nights when we get into bed and neither of us can stop talking.

Friends who truly listen, they are few and far between.

Cuddling up in a blanket on the couch.

Most of all…

I love the amazing man that I married and everything that he does for me and for us. So many characteristics that I adore, I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Many are listed above, and others I will never forget. I love you Hunny, thanks for being you and ONLY YOU.

Don't Forget!

I just wanted to remind you that I am continuously updating my photography blog! I have had so many friends and family who are letting me come into their homes and capture their beautiful children. I have had so much fun with each shoot that I have done and I can't wait to continue adding to my portfolio.

to see my latest photo shoot! And, of course, if anyone is interested in a photo session, inside or outside, DON'T hesitate to call! I will come to you! Thanks for your support!

Fireproof

Sorry for the horribly small picture, it just didn't want to enlarge for me, it is late, and I didn't care enough to try harder!
Anyway, we had heard good things about this movie, so we rented it this past weekend. Talk about a wake up call! Despite the horrible acting, this movie was really great. You have to get past the fact that it is a low budget film and just get into the story. The points made in it are amazing. I want to buy "the Love Dare". I think that even if your marriage is wonderful that you can learn some amazing lessons from this movie. I definitely recommend it, just make sure that you remember that it is low-budget! Enjoy! (P.S. Cody liked it too, so girls, you can make your hubbs watch it with ya! YES!)

P90X

Yes...we are doing it. For the next 90 days, we will be slaves to Tony Horton-in our own home-on our own television. There are 12 different workouts, including chest and back, plyometrics, shoulders and arms, yoga, legs and back, kenpo, stretch, core cynergistics, chest, shoulders and triceps, back and biceps, cardio, and...the AB RIPPER!
Before and after pictures are required, however, we have chosen NOT to post those! We Might (with a capital M) post the AFTER pictures...you'll just have to wait and see I guess!
Not only is this a hardcore workout program, but it is an INTENSE diet, which, IS NOT OPTIONAL. They pretty much tell you that on every page of the 200 page manual...therefore, I have learned, IT IS NOT OPTIONAL. So, this is what we will be eating... for the first month anyway. (Notice the massive bottle of Ibuprofen in the upper right corner!! I am sure that we will go through a FEW bottles of those!!!)
There are 3 phases(1 for each month) and you get to add more food in at each phase. I didn't put the meat that is included...and there is definitely MEAT included. The first 4 weeks, Cody has to eat SEVEN servings of protein, and I have to eat FIVE! That is sickening, honestly...but, they say it works! (By they I mean pretty much everyone that has tried it!)

So, wish us luck... we're gonna need it.

Seven Pounds

Tear. Tears. Lots of Tears. I don't even know what to say! This movie ended and I was still sobbing. I LOVED it! However, I don't think that I ever need to see it again. I would definitely recommend seeing it. Just be prepared to cry. And cry. And cry some more. (I know that was scatterbrained, but that is how I feel!)
