Chelsea & Cody,

We just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers also. Warner is a beautiful little boy, Warner prompted alot of questions from our kids about the plan of salvation. How wonderful to have the gospel in our lives to receive comfort and guidance in our lives.

Oh! Chelsea, I was so happy to read, Warner Nathan Winterholler Born.....
and then sobbed, and sobbed, as I read the passed. I kept thinking of how you said in your last post you just wanted to hold him. I am so happy you were able to hold him. What a precious little child of God. The sadness that we feel by the temporary separation death brings, is only eased(over time)by the knowledge that we will reunite. I am so grateful you were able to hold your little jewel, Warner.

Chelsea and Cody,

My heart is breaking for you and your families. What a blessing to hold and love him, but what a hard trial to have to go through. He will ALWAYS be yours OF COURSE, but it's really OK to be sad, mad, depressed, loved, blessed, and uplifted all at the same time. Your tiny little sweetheart was beautiful. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Cody and Chelsea:

I'm so grateful you had the opportunity to hold and love him...even if it was for a short while. My heart just aches for the loss you are experiencing right now.

I know this will not eliminate all of the grief you are experiencing, and you won't have all of the answers, but hopefully you find comfort in knowing your sweet baby is in the tender care of a loving Heavenly Father until you can all meet again.

With Love,
Ursala, Patrick & Gabriel Tora

On a Side Note...I wanted to share this with you both, because I had never before read it, and hope that it offers you comfort:

“In 1854, I met with my aunt [Agnes Smith], the wife of my uncle, Don Carlos Smith, who was the mother of that little girl [Sophronia] that Joseph Smith, the Prophet, was speaking about, when he told the mother that she should have the joy, the pleasure, and the satisfaction of rearing that child, after the resurrection, until it reached the full stature of its spirit; and that it would be a far greater joy than she could possibly have in mortality, because she would be free from the sorrow and fear and disabilities of mortal life, and she would know more than she could know in this life. I met that widow, the mother of that child, and she told me this circumstance and bore testimony to me that this was what the Prophet Joseph Smith said when he was speaking at the funeral of her little daughter.”

Dearest Chelsea and Cody,
He is absolutely precious and the pictures are so humbling. He has the finest parents who have shown strength, understanding and testimony through this experience. Love abounds, as does continued support from the knowledge of the gospel and the eternal perspective offered through the Plan. You are in our prayers and thoughts. Aunt Beth & Uncle Frank Petty

I follow your blog. Chels and Cody, he is absolutely gorgeous and perfect. I dont want to say anything too lightly, because right now is such a tender time for your family. What a precious baby. The Church is true. I love the lyrics to the hymn, How firm a Foundation. The line that helped me the most when I was mourning was, "I'll Strengthen thee, Help thee and Cause thee to Stand." Trials like this would be impossible with out a Loving Savior. Thinking and praying for you guys.

Chels, I wish I could give you a big hug right now. I immediately started bawling my eyes out when I read this, but everyone else has left comments with such great perspective - like Mandi's: "His purpose has been fulfilled and he is back with his Father in heaven again." So true. I hope you're feeling comfort and love right now. I miss you lots, my same-name friend. You're in my prayers.
